This may not be Tuscany but this amazing location caught my eye the other day. The bride looks stunning too, I like how simple yet stunning her dress, hair and make-up are. More pictures from this wedding can be found here on Once wed.

The proposal

I thought I would start my wedding blog by sharing a little bit about the proposal with you all. Although it wasn’t a surprise (as we had been talking about it for sometime and I had picked out my ring last November) , it was still romantic and special to us both.

It is very well situated for the town and Derwent water, has fantastic interiors and has won awards for it’s breakfasts. We were not disappointed! We had one of the newer luxury rooms and it was perfect.

The day before we got engaged we had a bit of a wonder round the town centre in all the nice gift shops and galleries.
